It is an honor and a privilege to serve the Lord in this small act of service to the Assembly. If you are unable to serve on your scheduled day please arrange your replacement. If unable to find a replacement please call John Monroe. 1Cor 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
If you have other responsibilities, e.g., speaking, leading music, etc. please ask another brother to be chairperson for that day.
The following are guidelines for the Sunday Chairperson. They are only guidelines and can be manipulated as needed
WORSHIP MEETING
· Close Worship Meeting with prayer after all announcements are finished
FELLOWSHIP TIME
· During fellowship time communicate with speaker that our standard msg. time is 11:15AM-12:00PM. If additional time is needed for message eliminate a song (s) as required.
· Check with music people for readiness, special music, and how many songs - reduce as necessary
· Get copy of bulletin and review for correctness and any announcements to be made
· Select brother to open Teaching Meeting with prayer
· Pray with music people, speaker, others for Lord’s blessing on message
WELCOME, ANNOUNCEMENTS, INTRODUCE SPEAKER
· Begin at 10:55AM depending on speaker’s time required. Welcome to Waterbury Christian Fellowship. SMILE!!! Be warm and inviting
· Open with prayer
· Singing – usually 1 or 2 songs depending on time
· Announcements
· After announcements dismiss Sunday School while singing last song
· Welcome speaker to come forward
